Of special note, The University of Chicago heavily subsidizes doctoral students in the following divisions: Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences. See the Graduate Aid Initiative page more information.
Doctoral students in other programs may also qualify for funding through the University and are strongly encouraged to inquire within their academic unit or with the Office of Graduate Affairs.
